All fees stated are indicative starting prices. The final fee for your matter will be confirmed in writing before any work begins. Fees may vary depending on the complexity of your situation, which we will discuss with you openly.
Our working relationship formally begins when we send you a written engagement letter and you confirm your agreement. Submitting an enquiry form or making initial contact does not create a legal relationship between us, though we will always respond carefully and in confidence.
We ask that you provide us with accurate and complete information about your situation. Our ability to assist you depends on having a clear picture of the relevant facts. If your circumstances change during our work together, please let us know promptly.
Fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are exclusive of any applicable government charges or court fees unless stated otherwise. We will always discuss any anticipated additional costs with you before they are incurred.
Payment terms will be set out in your engagement letter. We typically request an initial payment before substantive work begins. Where work extends over a longer period, we may agree a phased payment schedule with you.

Everything you share with us is treated as confidential. We will not disclose information about your matter to any third party without your consent, except where we are required to do so by law or by a regulatory body with appropriate authority.
We ask that you also treat any documents, advice, or information we share with you in confidence. Our correspondence and advice is prepared for your situation specifically and should not be shared or relied upon by others without our knowledge.
We work at a pace that suits each family. Timelines for any given matter depend on the nature of the work, the responsiveness of all parties involved, and any external factors such as court scheduling or documentation requirements. We will keep you informed of progress throughout.
We do not make commitments about when a particular outcome will be reached, as family legal matters involve people and circumstances that can change. What we do commit to is clear communication, steady progress, and honest updates about where things stand.
Our advice is prepared in accordance with the laws of Thailand and is intended solely for the person or family we are advising. It does not constitute advice applicable to other jurisdictions.

We take our professional responsibilities seriously and carry appropriate professional indemnity cover. Our liability to you is limited to the amount permitted under applicable Thai law and our professional obligations.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from our services, or from delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. This includes delays caused by third parties, courts, or changes in your own circumstances.
You may withdraw from our engagement at any time by giving us written notice. If you do so, you will be asked to pay for work carried out up to the date we receive your notice, at the rate set out in your engagement letter.
We may also bring our engagement to a close in circumstances where we are professionally or ethically required to do so, or where continuation would not be in keeping with our professional obligations. We will always give you reasonable notice and assist with the handover of your matter where possible.
The content of this website — including text, design, structure, and organisation — belongs to Ruamjai Legal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any part of it without our prior written permission.
Documents we prepare for you in the course of our engagement are yours to keep and use for the purpose for which they were prepared. They should not be adapted or used for other purposes without our guidance.
